Time of Transition

Angie and I are in a time of transition. Our home church has asked us to return to Texas and serve as Interim Pastors. We have answered the call. We all mourn the sudden departure of our Pastor Dave M. Bell. Please keep the leaders and congregation of Destiny Church in your prayers. Angie and I are committed to this congregation and to see it cross over into new horizons of faith and ministry.

Angie and I are still considered to be Missions Ambassadors with an adjusted assignment to help our home church for the time being. We are so grateful to those who have supported us in prayer and with finances while in Austria. We ask that those who can to prayerfully consider continuing your supporting us through this transition. The move has been costly. Our desire is to pursue missions when our task is finished in Texas, Lord willing.

We recently returned to Austria and Switzerland to pack up our things, visit with the people, minister, and install leaders so that the ministry can contuinue in the spiritual wastelands of Austria and Switzerland. This was a difficult trip for Angie and I because of the relationships that had been made and the progress we saw with new converts and disciples. We rejoice that there is a light shinning in these lands. Please pray for Austria and Switzerland to experience a spiritual awakening like never before. These countries still remain in our hearts.

Angie and I are in communication with the saints and still practice some German language with them. We hope to return and encourage them in the future. We don't know at this moment if the same door will be open to us for long term. We leave this with the Lord.

Here are a few photos with the wonderful people of Bread of Life at a fellowship BBQ in our honor. We love these people. Everyone has been so good to us. They received us and made us to feel right at home. The kingdom friendships built here will last a long time.

Family news...

We have another grandchild on the way!! Praise God for a February delivery date! Our Grandaughter Faith is really growing and is so precious. Congrats to Heather and Matt.

Matt is currently ministring in Japan. What a great oppertunity for him. He has a great missions heritage in that countrty. What a blessing! He returns this Wednesday.

Stephen is doing well at his job as store mananger and plans to buy a home in several years in San Antonio.

Pray for Angie. She was in a car accident with our daughter. They where hit from behind at a stop light. Heather is doing well. Angie, who had neck surgery several years ago, has been having great discomfort in her neck and shoulders. Also, Angie's mother passed away and we made a trip to Georgia for her burial. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

International Opportunity...

While retaining our mission status, I'm excited about the invitaion to speak at the I.G.O. Pastor's Conference in England early October. There will be pastors from Europe attending. Please keep me in prayer as I prepare to speak several sessions. I will also speak at a church the Sunday following the conference. God is networking and building alliances from around the globe! I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces..Jason and Sheryl King as well as the Armstrong's and the Black's at the conference.

The past two years have been quite a time of adjustment and adventure for Angie and I. We ask that you would keep us in prayer as we walk by faith following our Lord.
